Pigeon Talk:  Wow! Its already August and we're getting fired up abot is YB racing season beginning Sept. 15th. We had our first test of our new family of birds in the Texas Center Convention Race. Although our two birds did not place in the money in the $250 loft , they sure did prove themselves in tough conditions. I am very proud of them and they look super! It will only get better.....

What I learned:  Attending the Texas Convention Center was truly my cup of tea. I learned so much just by listening to so many successful fanciers.  If I could sum it all up, it would be like this...A flyer should start off with good birds, keep them healthy, find a system that works for you and your birds, be very selective, and promote this sport.   I feel that I am truly blessed to have met so many great people in the sport.  The race is a highlight, but the true prize is all the memories.
