"Roofie" is one of our Moby White Grizzles and belongs to our son Brandon. This grizzle cock has a heart like his dam "Dirty Sugar" and his uncle "Rooftop Wittie"..... STRONG! It seems like we flew him in just about every race. His best race was when he placed 5th in the combine @ 200m. vs. 266 birds. Not bad for a white grizzle eh?

Wow, its 2008 and I am so excited about this new year! Already the breeders are doing very well making us lots of babies and we are planning for the OB season. We are very happy with our birdage. Fortunately we have two full teams to start our season with. This is quite an accomplishment. I have to give the praise to my hubby for that. He knows when to hold em' , fold em' and fly em'.
Byron and I are back to having our own teams and my motivation to win is in overdrive!!!! It should be a very exciting season.
What I learned:
I'm still learning. Pigeon jargon is not easy. I do
want to thank all of my readers and pigeon associates for understanding
what I am trying to say when it comes to pigeons . Its taking me a
little while to get the terms like = 1st, double bred compared to
inbred, and so on. Whew! Its a lot to know, but I'm getting it. Who
would think that = 1st compared to 2nd = 1st would be such a big deal?
It is what it is to me. Heck the birds came at the same time...one just
happened to be polite to let the other walk in first....
